After graduating Art school Christopher painted onto the New London scene gaining commissions and creative projects from prestigious clients. Taking new direction Christopher continued in his artistic development, still working in London, experimenting with new creative ideas, bigger and bolder pattern forms, lush vibrant colours in different mediums. Finally settling in Suffolk, working from his studio, his paintings are inspired by the wonderful luminouse east coast, restful holidays in the colourful mediterranean and the excitement, drama and pace of London. Clients include:- Kawasaki, Decca Records, British Film Institute, Audi UK, Piper Champagne, The London Mozart Players, Major Art Exhibitions. |

Statement of Inspiration
Christopher’s dream like patterned scenes take the viewer on a journey of memories, evocative of warm romantic vistas and escapes, contemplative and meditative spaces where timelessness can be experienced, to be revisited in our dreams again and again. Paintings of dreams, time to experiment... pattern form, style, new colour combinations, lush flowers, exotic fruit, wind swept figure like trees, mosaic floors, matisse like pots, chairs with pattern draped cloth, pastiche of jewels, candle sticks and trinkets, jugs of wine, bowls of olive heaven!
Undulating deep cobalt, ultramarine skies enveloping sparkling oceans, inland to a world steeped in olive trees. Hill top shimmering provencal villages golden yellow and deep burnt umber buildings.
Geometric patterned fields, pink violet naples, yellow sexy cadmium red.
Walled towns awakened at sunrise sounds, smells & tastes of bustling ancient markets.
The Holy trinity bread, wine & olives silent and peaceful by noon polka dot cypress trees cast charcoal black shadows.
