Student Portrait Gallery...
Once a portrait has been completed, you will have the knowledge to produce future works of art at home. It all begins from being shown how to start your journey.
Your artistic license means you can put as much or as little of the photograph into your painting.
Even if you've only 'dabbled' in art, your participation in these classes will take you way beyond your own art expectations.
You may want to portray your favourite idol which is enormously satisfying. Just make sure not to take copies of your finished work and sell them as this breaches copyright laws.

Babies change so very quickly but when captured in a portrait, they becomes timeless and admired year after year.
Its not just the pretty faces and skin textures we do. Whatever your passion, if its on a photograph, I can show you how to produce a painting to be proud of.
Sometimes it can be difficult to see or understand my theories of pastel painting when I tell you to go darker before you can make something appear lighter. A black or white animal is never just black or white, it just appears to be those colours because our brains tell us so. With the correct tuition and faith in me as a teacher, I will help and guide you to understand this better.
When choosing your portrait project, its vital to understand that you may not always finish within the time allocated. It may be that your portrait has been quite complicated or you've spent more time on certain sections to fully understand the process. Either way, the work that you do complete will have given you enough encouragement and knowledge to be able to complete your portrait at home. Or if you need further help with it, you can always book yourself into another class to get it finished. Sometimes, we all need that extra push within a class to get things done!
